Scott improved his club rating for the seventh consecutive year!!!!!!! In 2014 he improved his club rating by 48 points. He also finished in 13th place in Div. 1 at the National Championships, which were held in Buffalo, NY this past summer! His worldly perspective and commitment to striving for excellence are manifest in his decision to start competing in the bigger dictionary (CSW) divisions at tourneys he enters in 2015.

Terri achieved a rating of 580 and a scoring average of 288 in her first year of club play! She had four bingos in nine club games and was undaunted versus high rated players.

Mary has very generously provided and administered the Charleston Scrabble Club website for many years. This past year she marvelously revamped and improved the site, which she renamed “The Charleston Scrabble Club: A Club for Players.”

Lisa played four phony bingos successfully in 2014! Moreover, she outrageously played SHANTERS* on the way to victory versus a newbie with one game of club experience.

Daiva qualified for the sincerity award by averaging at least one bingo per game and having no phony bingos recorded all year. She actually played 58 acceptable bingos in 44 games! Amazingly, this is the second time in three years Daiva has won this coveted award!!

25 career wins — Lisa Lovelace
