Mary raised her club rating from 1112 to 1219 and her scoring average from 369 to 373! She also had the nerve (and requisite skill) to emerge victorious three times in four matchups versus Martysaurus Rex in 2016!!! Kudos! Kudos!! Kudos!! … & … Beware!!!!
Cheri averaged 341 points per game and finished her first year of club play rated 780! She made 9 bingos in 17 club games and competed in a NASPA tourney in Champaign!
++ Honorable mentions go to Channing Brown for raising his club rating from 874 to 918 and to Jacqui Worden, who got her 10th club win and raised her scoring average to 312!
Angela played 39 club games and was one of the most consistent attendees in 2016, despite having a more stressful professional workload due to the underfunding of EIU. Her play, understandably, was atypically askew at times, but she remained ever cheery!
Wendy is an extremely good-natured, thoughtful, and friendly person who usually appears in mid-to-late afternoon, lifting the spirits of all present! Her unfailing amiability and most generous habit of bringing especially yummy treats are truly appreciated!!
Della played 50 bingos at the club meetings in 2016 and seven of them were phoneys! The most outrageous and/or amusing were REMOWED*, RETINGED* and TOESIES*!!
+ Nancy Taitt set a record that will never be broken for highest rate of phoney bingos! (The former math teacher had 2/2 = 100 %.) She played RETOLED* and SCUDDLES*!!
Daiva qualified for this award by averaging at least one bingo per game and having no bogus bingos recorded all year. She actually played 63 acceptable bingos in 50 games! Amazingly, Daiva is the Sincerity award winner for the third time in five years! Honest !!!
